Harriers Experienced,
Prospects Promising

Coach Lou Onesty is looking
forward to what may well be a
more successful cross country season
than the product of past years.
With seven veterans from last year's
squad returning, this year's team
will be marked by experience.
Coach Onesty is also anticipating
more points with the arrival of
some first-year men, like Phil
Myers, a promising two miler from
Kentucky.

There will be tight competition
between several individuals for the
top spot. Since Phil Stafford's
graduation last year, Rick Katz,
team captain, will be running for
first position. On Katz's heels will
be second yearman Brew Barron
and Keith Lawdon, both from New
Jersey.

Doubtful returnees from Richmond,
Virginia are second yearmen
Mike DeCamps and Greg Lane.

Coach Onesty is interested in
anyone who wants to come out for
cross country. All first-year men
who are interested in running
should come by Coach Onesty's
office in University Hall. The room
is the Track-Soccer office, number
2-6.
